El Instituto Nacional de Innovación Agraria (INIA) del Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego (MIDAGRI) ha recibido beneficios monetarios producto de acuerdos contenidos en el Contrato de Acceso a Recursos Genéticos N° 007-2021-MIDAGRI-INIA/DGIA relacionado a la especie cultivada de Cacao (Theobroma cacao) con fines comerciales, suscrito en el año 2021 entre el INIA-MIDAGRI y las empresas Cosmos Ingredients S.A.C (Perú) y Cosmo International Ingredients Société Par Actions Simplifiée À Associé Unique (Francia).
Estos acuerdos se firmaron en el marco de la solicitud de acceso con fines comerciales presentada por las mencionadas empresas, para ejecutar el proyecto denominado “Estudio de extracto de Porcelana Cacao (Theobroma cacao) como potencial ingrediente en cosmética”.
